If you ever had to read scientific literature, you probably experienced that strange feeling that you knew the language in which you read and at the same time have difficulty understanding the content. This is, of course, perfectly normal because of the specifics of scientific speech and especially its highly specialised vocabulary which is different for each area of knowledge. And if this confusion can be relatively quickly overcome when you read your native language, then if you have to do it in English, there is a high probability that you will face more serious difficulties.
