Mistakes made by English students

• preservatives: do not be fooled, does not mean condoms, but preservatives. (Examples of chemical food preservatives are: Benzoates, Nitrites, Sulphites.
• sympathy: DOES not mean sympathy, • empathy. „I have some sympathy for this view“

The contents in 3 persons. h. in English Everyone says English grammar is relatively easy. True, we do not have to teach verbs, countless times, etc. However, the only rule for the correction of verbs in the present time is often forgotten: adding h. So remember, it's right:

• he reads
• it takes

The use of Present Perfect Continued in English

As for verb times, one of the most frequently made mistakes by English students is the non-use of Present Perfect Continued for ongoing actions. Remember that when you talk about continuing action, you should use the following word order: Sublog + Auxiliary verb have + been + Glagola in -ing form. Examples: I have been studying here for 2 years. I have been working for hours. I'm tired because I've been working all day.

Perhaps each of us has had a chance to ask for some water, some bread or something else when he is at the restaurant or at the table with friends. How, though, can we ask for some bread in English?
