English Lesson for Beginners

English Lesson for Beginners
Knowing English today is almost equivalent to being literate. It is so tightly intertwined even in our daily activities that it is somehow strange if you say you do not understand it. If you are not of the generation for which he was required in school, however, it is perfectly normal for you to have him as a stranger. Most importantly, it does not frighten and discourage you that you have irretrievably missed the time to learn it. So today we have prepared a few brief English lessons for beginners.

Alphabet and transcription

It contains 26 letters and it's actually Latin alphabet. The interesting thing is that with these letters, the English are able to express all 46 of the sounds in their tongues. It is therefore particularly important to get acquainted with the phonetic alphabet in English, which is used to describe the pronunciation of words, i.e. so-called transcription. Note also that it is good to learn the alphabet by heart.  Council! Here you can very much help a children's alphabetic song that you can find freely on the Internet.

Glagolls

Like in every language and here verbs are one of the most important parts of speech because they mean the action that is being done. Here they have one feature - they are divided into right and wrong.  The majority of English verbs are correct, which means that they form their forms for different times by established rules. For example, in the formation of forms for past tense and past communion:
  • when the word ends on the vowel - e, add -d;
  • when the word ends in
  • When the word ends on a consonant sound, and the emphasis is on the last syllable, the consent doubles and is added - ed;
  • before - ed, the consent doubles if the word is single and the vowel is between two consonants;
  • When the word ends on a consonant sound, but the emphasis is not on the last syllable, add - ed;
  • when ending on -c, to the word adding attachment -ked;
  • when it ends on -y preceded by a vowel - we add
  • when it ends at - y preceded by consonant, it transforms into i to which we add - ed;
  However, in the irregular verbs, formation follows many rules related to the historical development of language. They not only add attachments, in many cases they change entirely or their basic, infinitative form, coincides with two other - that is - do not change at all. For example:
I forbid it. Rasta I'm reading.
forbid grow read
forbade grew       read
forbidden grown read
Council! Learn the wrong verbs by heart in their three forms, first group them in a way of formation because many of the wrong verbs follow a certain pattern.

Prepositions

As in Bulgarian, these small parts of speech are most often before nouns or pronouns and indicate when or where the action was taken or which direction it is directed.  In English we distinguish three types of prepositions - for a place, for time and direction. Although there are clear rules for their use, people who study the language often make mistakes. This confusion comes from the fact that sometimes the same Bulgarian preposition can serve as translation of several such in English.  Council! You should try to learn the prepositions with examples that help you use them automatically without thinking or translating from Bulgarian.

Places

The localized system in English is not complex and is largely subject to the laws of generic grammar. There are similarities with Bulgarian but also some significant differences. For example, in our native language . . my car is a combination of a possessive pronoun and noun. The same combination of words in English . . my car . is grammatically composed of a holder adjective (my) and noun. This is because there are also so-called "mine, yours, etc.' here. Holders' adjectives used in combination with nouns. Another feature of English is that personal pronouns (I, you, he, she, etc.) should almost necessarily be used in a sentence because the verb does not reflect (except 3 l. S-seg. (Form) the category of genus.

Time

The times of the world can be divided into three categories . . . simple, long, perfect. They express different aspects of the speaker's thought and are laid down in the time axis in the guidelines: past, present, future. The system of verb times in English is easily understood if we realize that language reflects our perception of the world.  For example, the present simple time reflects actions and states that we do regularly; the past simply expresses one-off, completed actions at a specific point in time. Presently, it is continuous to express action in the dynamics of its happening . . now, at the moment of speaking or close to speaking. All the long times in English express only and only actions, never states. Perfect times express complex constructs . . they are the volume of beginning and some continuing moment, they always compare with another moment. For example, past perfect time expresses actions that took place before the main moment in the past (expressed with past just a time).
