What is green certificate
In fact, this is the popular name of the Digital COID EU Certificate. In practice, it is a document which proves that its holder is:- vaccinated against COVID-19;
- received a negative test result;
- He was a covid-19.
What language is it published in?
The certificate shall apply and be required throughout the European Union. For this to be understood, it is always published in two languages - the one from the country where it was also issued.What information does it contain?
- Information on the person to whom it was issued - name and date of birth
- Type information:
- for vaccination, the date of administration of the second dose (or the first in single vaccines);
- when testing - the date and time of the test;
- in the case of illness, the date on which the person is registered as ill;
- For all three types, the date until which it is valid.
- QR-code - it contains information about each issuing authority, e.g. hospital, testing center, health authority. Its purpose is to protect against counterfeiting of the document. The European Commission has created a portal through which all certificates can be checked across the EU. The personal data of the certificate holder shall not pass through the portal as this is not necessary for the verification of the digital signature.
