Chess is one of the oldest games in human history. They also call it a royal game, and this is not just about its name, which comes from Persian and means - emperor, ruler. Its most likely homeland is India, but the Persians are carrying it to Europe and then chess is gaining popularity all over the world. In the Middle Ages and Renaissance it is now part of Europe's culture and favorite game of aristocracy. But this wasn't just a game to entertain the noble bored gentlemen. Chess is used to teach military strategy and as a way of cultivation. Today he is also popular as an effective tool for training the flexibility of the mind, the best chess players are popular just as the best footballers.  So it is no accident that chess today has a sports status. Because just like other sports, you need training and development here. The only difference is you don't work out certain muscles in your body, but your brain.  If you are also fans of this wonderful game, today we will help you to navigate the names of its figures in English. If you're wondering why this is important, let's give a few reasons:

    Specific terms and characteristics

  5. Bullet - a version of blitz chess in which players have less than three minutes each, based on a game of 40 moves.
  6. Lightning - an alternative term for blitz chess, for extremely fast chess. Usually with fixed time (e.g. Ten seconds) for every move or up to games of one minute. Queen
