Only or plural?
Anyone can forget one ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss, even though they are plural. On the other hand, however, there is the fact that some words in English make an exception and only exist in the singular or plural, and may have the same form as the singular and plural. See the examples below!
- Words in English that do not receive . .s: advice, management, accomodation, administration.
- Many words in English are countless and have no form for plural: sheep (sheep) deer (ellens), swine (pig/pig), fish (fish (s))
- Words in English that exist only plurally: clothes (dressing) stairs (groans), shorts (short pants), trousers (pant) jeans (jinsi), scissors (scissors (s), pyjamas (pajamas (s).
- Words in English that exist only in singular and the verb with which they are drawn is in singular: news, money (money), furniture ( furniture), progress (progress).
Examples:
- “Here is the news: it's usually bad – and that's bad for us.”
- “Money is not everything.”
- “Economics is a science concerned with the production, distribution and consumption of goods and services.”
„Peoples .. in English is combined with ..are“ and is plural to
“person”.
The word people in English means people, that is, as in Bulgarian is plural. Do not be misled by not ending with any of the plural endings: -s, -es, ies and do not be tempted to add to it the verb . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
The rule is: People + „are“.
Example: People are dancing in the streets.
When is the English language used ?Mistake , and whenerror“
Mistake is usually used for cases where an accident or error that can be corrected is made. It's used in more informal conversations.
Example: We only wasted our time.“
Error used when the error is made by ignorance and when breaking rules. And then the clarification, we're sure you'll make fewer mistakes when you use English. And if it does, then the mistakes will be by the involuntary (mistakes) rather than by ignorance (errs).
A few more tricks for unmistakable English
- First of all, do not be tempted to use long sentences. Put it short and tight. It's rule number one to make sure everyone else understands you.
- Read original texts in English. Choose topics that seem interesting or useful.
- To speak properly, you also need to listen more. Remember to play interesting shows or news in English, even 10 minutes a day.
